Whatever Happened to Justice?

The book explains the legal model and shows the connection between rational law and economic progress. The legal model is the old British Common Law--or Natural Law. The original principles on which America was founded were those of the old British Common Law. Explores America's legal heritage and discusses the difference between higher law and man-made law.

"This is a wonderfully readable and interesting book about the legal principles which under gird a free society. Richard Maybury challenges the reader to explore the inextricable connections between law and economics, and between economic and political liberty. I can think of no more important subject, and I highly recommend this lucid and thoughtful volume."

Mark Skousen, editor of FORECASTS & STRATEGIES

"Richard Maybury is one of my favorite people. All of his writing is clear and direct. Most important - it's philosophically uncompromising. If you want the answers to how a truly free society would solve the problems of poverty, pollution, drugs, consumer protection, and the like, this book has them. If you're looking for a worthwhile gift for a young person especially, give this book."
Doug Casey, editor of CRISIS INVESTING

"We are drowning in an ocean of crazy laws and litigation. This book is a life preserver, a reminder of the fundamental rules which are needed for a free society."
