The Politics of Terrorism, Banking & Health
G. Edward Griffin

As a researcher, Ed Griffin’s talent is that of a communicator
par excellence. As a young man, after graduating from the University
of Michigan, where he majored in speech and communications, he
eventually headed west to make his mark in Hollywood. He soon
realized there were many talented writers in Hollywood who were
washing cars and waiting tables while waiting for a break in the
movie industry.
Griffin had a wife and family to support so he decided to turn
his talents elsewhere. He went into the insurance business for about
5 years. "Then," he says, "I began to discover some things about the
real world that concerned me and made me think our future wasn’t so
bright after all." He returned to his talents as a writer and
speaker. "First thing I knew I was giving speeches on International
Affairs. I realized this is where I wanted to be because I wanted to
communicate to others very quickly what it took me months and years
to learn about. … I wanted to communicate issues that make a
difference in peoples lives."
Later his talents were drawn to the politics of health. A medical
doctor who was having great success using laetrile, a natural remedy
for cancer, approached him. The medical association was threatening
to remove the doctor’s license to practice. The doctor, of course,
wanted to keep practicing but he also wanted to continue to offer
his patients a therapy that was proving successful with cancer. Ed
says he was still naïve at this stage. He thought: "We’ll explain
the truth and then when the opposition understand what the truth
really is, they will go away. Instead, "he says," I discovered the
science of cancer therapy wasn’t nearly as complicated as the
politics of cancer therapy. It wasn’t an issue of whether something
was effective, it didn’t matter whether it worked, it didn’t matter
whether you were saving lives. The important thing was whether it
went through the political process and the political process is
dependent largely on the economic process. What I discovered was
very disturbing."
Discovering information about government, banking and health that
is largely hidden from the public gave him his niche: "It seemed
that was why I’m here … to do the research and repackage it so it’s
more readily understandable." Today he is listed in Who’s Who in
America. Ed Griffin also produces documentaries. He has also won
the Telly Award for excellence in television production.
As early as the 1960’s he saw the dangerous direction US
government policies were taking. He started speaking out in 1963. He
has a talent to back up all his warnings with difficult-to-find
facts and continues to present them courageously in a simple to
understand way. His subjects are diverse and range from ancient
earth history to international banking to internal subversion to
terrorism to the history of taxation to U.S. foreign policy to the
science and politics of cancer therapy to the Supreme Court and the
United Nations.
He has recorded several interviews with individuals who have
first-hand or inside knowledge of hidden agendas and
corruption—information that would be lost to the world without these
recorded interviews.
Griffin says true patriotism is more than flying the flag. True
patriotism is speaking up to help correct errors. "I have spent my
whole adult life trying to defend my country and to show where she
is wrong in my opinion and to fulfill my obligation of patriotism. …
For 40 years we have been out there trying to rally our fellow
countrymen to the defense of America from her enemies external and
internal."
Our upcoming video on The Beck Protocol, Part 1: An
Introduction to The Beck Protocol includes an interview with Ed
Griffin. He explains why electricity in medicine came to a halt
early in the 20th century and gives insights into the
politics of health. This video will be available in the spring of
2002.
